Bus ticket prices in Paros are determined based on the duration and length of the route. The minimum fare for a single journey starts at €1.80. Students carrying valid student ID cards can avail themselves of discounted tickets, usually offering around a 25% discount. For those looking to explore the entire island in a day, a full-day ticket is available for €10, granting unlimited access to the bus network.

There are multiple options for purchasing Paros public bus tickets. The main Paros public bus station in Parikia serves as a central point for ticket sales. Alternatively, you can acquire tickets from selected establishments scattered across the island or directly from the bus driver upon boarding. It is worth noting that purchasing tickets onboard the bus incurs additional fees (ranging from €2.00 to €3.50) depending on the route. To avoid extra charges, it is recommended to buy tickets from the terminal stations in Parikia or Naoussa, or from shops displaying the corresponding signage. Mini-markets and kiosks in Parikia, Naoussa, Marpissa, Lefkes, Alyki, Pounda, Drios, Prodromos, Piso Livadi, Voutakos, Marmara, and even in Antiparos offer bus tickets for sale.

When boarding the bus, please note that each ticket does not correspond to a specific numbered seat. This means that you can choose your preferred seat if you arrive early enough. Feel free to select a seat that suits your comfort and offers the best views of the island's scenic landscapes during your journey.
